About Bits o' Scrap
Bits o' Scrap is an independent buying-guide site about tool chests and rolling tool boxes, the storage that keeps your tools together and moves them on wheels.
We write for homeowners, weekend fixers and retirees with a garage or a shop corner. Our aim is simple: help you find a chest or box that holds the tools you own and fits the space you have.
What we cover
Our guides cover steel drawer chests on wheels, rolling tool cabinets and stackable rolling systems. Brands include Keter, Craftsman, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Klein, ToughBuilt, Goplus and others.
We also cover the parts that make a chest easier to live with. That means drawer liners, foam inserts, trays, dividers, wheels and locks.
How we work
We read the specs, sizes and the maker's own information for every model we cover. We also look at what owners often report after loading one up and rolling it around.
